Here, we share a variety of events, both hosted by us, as well as community members and local businesses designed to engage, inspire, and unite us in our mission to feed our neighbors in need. From exciting fundraisers to hands-on volunteer opportunities, there’s something for everyone to get involved.

Join us on Monday, August 12th from 4–9 PM at Nonesuch River Brewing Co. for a special collaborative fundraiser to benefit the South Portland Food Cupboard! 10% of all food sales, both dine-in AND takeout, will be donated to support our work. (Please note: this applies to food only, not alcohol.) Bring a donation, get a coupon! We’ll have a collection box at the event, and anyone who brings a non-perishable food pantry donation will receive a coupon to use at a future visit, courtesy of Nonesuch River!
Sat, Aug 23- Back to School Bash!

More info via the Maine Mall website: "Come join us on Saturday, August 23rd for an event to get everyone excited about going back to school! This event will focus on giving back to the local community with fill-the-backpack portion of the event and accepting donations for the South Portland Food Cupboard. There will also be activities and entertainment for the whole family! We will be posting a sign up for our 5k as well to kick off the day. Hot 104.7 will be broadcasting live from the 5k, you don't want to miss it! More details will be listed as we get closer to the event, so keep your eyes peeled!"
